I subscribe to an English music weekly called New Musical Express. In 2006, they started writing about this band from Sheffield. I bought all their singles, bought all their albums, and every time they played in California, I went and saw them play except I was too fucking chicken shit to go back and say hello to them cause I didn’t think I was cool enough cause I was just a drummer in an American heavy metal band. But it’s a fucking dream come true and this makes me look really good in my son’s eyes cause he’s an even bigger Arctic Monkeys fan. So please, give it the fuck up for the coolest of the cool, from Sheffield, or shall I say under the rubble in front of the Ritz, the Arctic Monkeys.
