Falls Festival knows great timing: they just released a video recording of Brick By Brick from the boys’ performance at Lorne (31 December 2011). That song just turned a year old yesterday, hey. Stay tuned for the video of the band’s entire performance.
“Let me introduce you to our drummer. His name is Matthew J. Helders III,” (Matt caught on camera trying to catch a moth, hah) ”If you like him Falls, why don’t you tell him that you like him… for fucks sake? He’s another hero of mine and he’s gonna sing this next number for you...” Bless you, Turner.
Download the live stream that aired last night in the midst of all the R U MINE anarchy. just don’t play a drinking game for Jamie Cook mistakes, because you’ll end up with alcohol poisoning.
big thanks to Tiny Thumbs Tom of AMUS for the rip

If you weren’t with us during the stream, or you were but you want to relisten to it because, yes, it was just that good — Alex called Matt the RHYTHM PANTHER, mind you — download this shit.

Deus Ex Machina make a bike called the "Evil Twin". Coincidence?

I’d think not. Damn, look at that.
FYI these photos were taken when the band visited Deus Ex Machina, a motorbike shop in Australia.

More crowd pointing by Alex Turner!
Nice capture! I love this.
You wouldn’t believe it but me and Alex went surfing in Perth. I’d never done it but he kept telling me do it, so we thought `when in Rome’ … and it was amazing. Our instructor was impressed - we got up about three or four times - it has definitely been my highlight.

Miles Kane, making me think that ‘surfing’ is but a euphemism to something facepalm-worthy. What in God’s name is happening in Australia, I don’t even know. I’m just going to use this gif forever. [x]
Falls Festival (31 January 2011) To satisfy my need for crowd images, here are some shots of the lucky, lucky crowd that welcomed 2012 with our favorite boys.

If you fancy the Sheffield four-piece with a passion, welcome home then. This is a blog about Arctic Monkeys, if that's not obvious enough. I'm Jan. Nice to meet you.
If you have a question, comment, an Arctic Monkeys story to tell, or if you're just bored and you need a fellow fan to talk to, don't hesitate to leave a message. Also, if you have anything to submit, feel free to do so.
