From today: Alex and his new bike, an XS650. Thanks anon for the tip. [x]
So because it was 5/05, because it was a year ago since the SIAS tour started, or maybe just because this band is amazing, they put in a nice little surprise to the setlist in Sacramento— That’s Where You’re Wrong. A tune so, so good live. (source: PT)
Al went back to the studio in Sheffield to do the vocal for one of them [Record Store Day tracks] and ended-up doing this other song that none of us have heard. It’s from a riff Nick came up with.

Matt Helders talking to Q about the band’s new material and I’m basically sat here getting more and more excited.
April 2012: Remember when the boys were all electric?
Hold on to your hearts—April was the beginning of the end. We are mere weeks away from the end of SIAS and it’s starting to feel bittersweet. But cry not just yet, since we began the month with hints about the new era to come: anyone fancy Album V to sound like Evil Twin/R U Mine? Helders reckons that that’s where the band’s headed.
The boys came back to the States to stir some madness in the west coast, starting with a stint on Conan performing R U Mine, before shaking things up at The Glass House.
Do you know where we can download the new single? I want to listen to Electricity pretty bad and I didn't find any source yet... it's not on iTunes and on their website.
Do you know if they're selling the R U Mine? vinyls at the Texas shows? Also btw my girlfriend met them and even though she's not a fan hahaha she only recognized them because of me (I'm proud) ...got a picture too :)
You should be proud. Looks like you taught her well. Anyway, about the vinyl, I wouldn’t know. Anyone who went to the Texas show know the answer to this?
Mmm… 320kbps goodness. Enjoy it, wank friends. If you want to wax nostalgic and listen to its first radio play, there’s this audio rip. Thanks to asdf.
By the way, did you guys manage to score a purple vinyl?
Arctic Monkeys: Coachella Festival - Weekend One (13 April 2012)
This is quite lovely. Imagine watching an Arctic Monkeys home video soundtracked by Stuck On The Puzzle. This hits close to that—all the 8mm footage from At The Apollo, Teddy Picker, et cetera collated into one video. (submitted by c-o-u-t-u-r-i-e-r)
If you fancy the Sheffield four-piece with a passion, welcome home then. This is a blog about Arctic Monkeys, if that's not obvious enough. I'm Jan. Nice to meet you.
If you have a question, comment, an Arctic Monkeys story to tell, or if you're just bored and you need a fellow fan to talk to, don't hesitate to leave a message. Also, if you have anything to submit, feel free to do so.
